This Cross Sections of 3D Figures Pixel Art resource contains 2 pixel art activities with 18 questions total to practice identifying 2D figures from horizontal, vertical, and diagonal slices of 3D figures such as prisms and pyramids. Level 1 involves identifying 2D figures from horizontal and vertical slices of 3D figures. Level 2 involves horizontal, vertical, and diagonal slices of 3D figures.

These self-checking Google Sheets give students instant feedback. Incorrect answers are highlighted in red, and correct answers turn green and unlock parts of a mystery picture. They’re easy to assign, keep students engaged, and free up your time for differentiation.
