If you have students that love to doodle, you’ll love these math & art worksheets. Doodle Math is a fresh twist on color-by-number or color-by-code, with more creative freedom on the resulting image. Simply print out a worksheet relevant to the topic that you’re covering in class. Your students will solve problems and unlock doodle patterns that they can doodle in the color of their choice.
Why do I love this?
My kids love getting to doodle in math class! Plus, there’s tons of versions for different holidays, including Halloween. Kids walk out of class with a math masterpiece, and they look great when hung up on the walls. Better yet there’s plenty for nearly every CCSS topic and middle school grade level.

Even outside of holidays, I love these Google Sheets Pixel Art activities. You can copy a Google Sheet for each of your students and have them copy it. Students solve the problems and incrementally unlock a Halloween-themed picture. The activities have multiple levels, which you can assign on different or together all at once.
Why do I love this?
Self-grading activities are a dream! Students get instant feedback on what problems they’re getting right and wrong, so that they can improve. It frees me up to walk around and differentiate more easily, as I can focus my attention on students that need a little more support.

In this printable coordinate planes activity, students help the CDC stop an outbreak of a zombie virus by plotting outbreak locations, analyzing where to place a laboratory and hospital, and computing the distance between infected individuals.

It gives students an exciting, "real-life" use for coordinate planes. They can work on the project individually or in groups, and the perfect activity for Halloween.
Don't take my word for it! Here's what Clare S. had to say:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Used it the week of Halloween, kiddos were able to complete it on their own with minimal prompting. Great activity!"
