[Fall] Distributive Property & Combining Like Terms Digital Pixel Art Positive

This resource includes two levels of Google Sheets pixel art:

• Level 1 focuses on using the distributive property to simplify short expressions.
• Level 2 combines the distributive property with combining like terms to simplify longer expressions.
  

Teachers have used this versatile activity for sub plans, independent practice, group work, or quiz reviews. Each Google Sheet is self-checking—correct answers turn green, incorrect ones stay red—and as students solve problems, a mystery picture is revealed, pixel by pixel.

This activity is ideal for in-person or virtual learning, easily assigned through Google Classroom or any digital platform. Students love the immediate feedback and the engaging mystery images that keep them motivated to finish each problem set.

Although fall-themed, the images are flexible enough to be used year-round.
