1. Self-Checking Google Sheets Pixel Art (Digital)

What is it?

My students absolutely LOVE these digital Google Sheets Pixel Art activities.

Students solve the problems and incrementally unlock a fall-themed picture like a Turkey, autumn leaves, or pumpkins. The activities have multiple levels, which you can assign on different or together all at once.

Why do I love this?

Self-grading activities gives me the flexibility to walk around the room to support targeted students!

Students get instant feedback on what problems they’re getting right and wrong. The answers turn green for correct answer with mystery pixels appearing. The answers turn red for incorrect answers, signaling they need to redo the problem.

It works so well that I've started using them as sub plans and the substitute teachers absolute love these.

Here's some of my favorites for middle school, sorted by grade level. It also includes two freebies:

6th Grade Thanksgiving Pixel Art Activities

7th Grade Thanksgiving Pixel Art Activities

8th Grade Thanksgiving Pixel Art Activities
