8th Grade Resources

Activities for the 8th grade year, organized by the units teachers actually teach: real numbers and square roots, laws of exponents and scientific notation, multi-step linear equations including the one-solution, no-solution and infinitely-many cases, systems of equations by graphing, substitution and elimination, slope and linear functions, transformations — translations, reflections, rotations and dilations — the Pythagorean theorem, angle relationships and volume, and scatter plots and two-way tables.

Print and digital sit side by side, so you can pick by what the room needs on the day. The print side is doodle and color-by-number worksheets and guided notes with doodles, which need nothing beyond a copier. The digital side is self-checking pixel art in Google Sheets, where the sheet responds as each answer goes in and the picture builds up as students work.
